I've recently come to the conclusion that God must love green. Everything in this world is drenched in it; it hangs from the trees, it paints the ground, it slips through the cracks in the sidewalks, it crawls up our houses and sprouts through our mud, it is resilient, it is alive, it is pure. The world just wouldn't be quite the same were it's forests consumed in purple and its grasses replaced with red. There is just something about the color green that contributes to the world's beauty above all else, it has managed to slip into the background as we marvel at fire engine red roses and gentle blue skies, but it is the back drop for all that is pure and beautiful. God loves green.
