Europe

Kory and I spent the last 5 weeks traveling throughout Europe and our trip was lovely. I've spent a lot of time trying to figure out how I can put all the things I've been thinking about in writing but all I can come up with is that while traveling is wonderful and exciting, there's something about the simplicity and comfort of being home that you just don't get anywhere else. All of the most beautiful things in the world pale in comparison to the beauty of a happy, loving home. It may seem weird that we just spent over a month away and all I can think about is how good it is to be home, but I think in some ways the purpose of traveling is to see a lot of beautiful things and meet a lot of kind, loving people and then realize that what you have is more than enough. I think that so often we glamorize being away when maybe we should start appreciating the beauty of being home. That being said, our trip was remarkable and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Here are more than a couple highlights.
